Roulette Strategies

There is no real strategy when betting on roulette, the outcome is ALWAYS pure chance. In Roulette the house has an edge of approximately 5.25%(unless you make a 5 way split then it's around 7.25%).

So what do our experts suggest? Simple Awareness. As players of roulette our hands are tired so to speak. so their is no way to lower the house edge, but always be on the lookout for casinos that offer special rules that may help increase your chances.

When you enter a casino right off the bat the rule you should be looking for
is called "Surrender"(Not to be confused with Black Jack). The rule applies to outside bets which pay even money only. Including odd/even, high/low, and red/black bets. If the ball lands on a 0 or 00 you will lose half of your bet as opposed to all of it. So "surrender" is a very effective way to lower the house edge. The house edge on the even money bets changes to about 2.60% around half of the normal edge. But don't expect to get a big pay off using this rule. "Surrender" has its obvious down sides, but using it still is an effective strategy for playing rulette.

Also another important thing to look for in casinos are the single zero wheels. Single zero wheels exclude the double zero you usually find on standard wheels. The major differences between the two are simply this; there are only 37 pockets on the wheel. That change drops the house edge on all bets to around 2.69%.

Don't Forget about your options, and gambling at an online casino that offers single zero roulette.
