Keno (Rules)
Originating from China, Keno made its debut in the U.S. around the mid
19th century. The game quickly found its way to Las Vegas casinos, where it
became an instant favorite. Keno holds the highest house edge in casino
gamming, around 29.5%. This however is often ignored because of it high
payout amounts.
Playing the lottery and playing Keno are very similar.
An unlit board displays numbers ranging between 1 & 80 and a basket holds
balls also ranging between 1 & 80.
The idea is to predict between two and fifteen numbers(slots) that will be pulled
form the basket. Twenty random balls ranging between 1 & 80 will be chosen.
Each numbered ball picked form the basket will then be lit on the display board.
The player is allowed to bet a maximum of 15 spots.
Most online casinos have similar payout tables. The player will be awarded
the amount predetermined on the payout table, according to the numbers of winning
matching slots, corresponding with the twenty balls chosen. The amount at stake
drastically effects? the payout tables. Higher stakes mean higher payouts. Raise
the stakes by choosing more numbers(slots).
If you have a wining ticket you?ll have just 5 minutes to claim it. If you
do not claim it within 5 minutes, the ticket will be void.
