Caribbean Stud Poker (Rules)

The rules of Caribbean Stud Poker are very easy to learn. First you?ll need to Ante up (initial bet). After you Ante you?ll be dealt 5 cards. The dealer is also dealt 5 cards with one flipped so that it is showing its face value. At this point of the game you?ll have a couple of choices you can make. You can either make an additional bet that must be equal to twice the amount of the Ante, or you may fold forfeiting your Ante. After your play has been made the dealer will flip his remaining 4 cards. If the dealer reviles anything other than ace (A) and king (K) or better you will be paid even money on the Ante only. If the dealer has a qualifying hand such as ace (A), and king (K) or better and it is superior to your hand, you will lose both the Ante and the bet. However if your had is better than the dealers qualifying hand you?ll be paid accordingly (Even money on the Ante + and whatever the bet is determined to be worth). Here are some examples of winning hands and what the odds pay on the bet:

 Caribbean Poker Hands Odd Table
Ace (A) + King (K) (A/K) or a pair (10/10) 1/1
Two pair (10/10 + J/J) 2/1
Three of a kind (7/7/7) 3/1
Straight (K/Q/J/10/9 unsuited) 4/1
Flush (K/10/7/5/2 all same color) 5/1
Full House (K/K/J/J/J) 7/1
Four of a kind (K/K/K/K) 20/1
Straight Flush (JH/10H/9H/8H/7H all same suit) 50/1
Royal Flush (AH/KH/QH/JH/10H in this order w/ and suit) 100/1
