BINGO (Rules)
Bingo is a very popular casino games and is one of the easiest games to play.
Even children can learn to play Bingo. In fact Bingo can be found in many homes
today and is widely sold in toy and game stores across America. Bingo is even
used as a learning tool is some schools. Some teachers apply it to math or other
subjects as a fun way for children to learn. This familiarity makes the game
more attractive to people.
The concept of bingo is very simple. The first player to cover a complete row of
numbers is the winner. You will have a rectangle shaped card which is held long
ways (up and down.). Across the top of the card the letters B, I, N, G, O, spell
out the word bingo. Below each letter there are 5 squares each containing numbers.
Each bingo card has 25 squares and 24 numbers with the center square being a free
square. The person calling the numbers spins a basket that contains balls marked
with letters, either a B, I, N, G, O, and numbers. After a quick spin a ball is
picked and announced. For example balls would be announced like this 'B5', or 'G59'.
Once the ball is announced quickly search your card or cards played, for that
letter and number. For example if 'B5' was called you would look for the number
5 under column B only. If you are playing multiple cards be sure to check all the
B columns on all the cards for that numbed. In a standard game of Bingo, once a
complete row is covered either, up or down, left or right, or diagonal, you announce
that you have 'BINGO!!!' this will bring game play to a halt, so that your clime
may be verified. Once verified you win. Other Bingo games and rules could require
more than one line to be covered to win.
